- Integration: Lead financial integration of Curvo and BroadJump, including unified chart of accounts, revenue modeling, cost synergies, SaaS revenue recognition, and consolidated reporting to stakeholders.
- Corporate development: Support corporate development and M&A activity end to end, including target identification and screening, financial due diligence, valuation and deal modeling, coordination with external advisors and counsel, preparation of Board and investor materials, and post-close financial integration of acquisitions aligned with company growth objectives.
- Finance systems ownership: Run and continuously improve the company’s finance systems, serving as the primary owner and administrator of QuickBooks (general ledger, chart of accounts, monthly close, and financial reporting), Bill.com (accounts payable, approval workflows, and vendor payments), Maxio (subscription billing, invoicing, collections, SaaS revenue recognition, and ARR/SaaS metrics), and Numeral (sales tax registration, calculation, filing, and compliance).
- Systems architecture: Oversee integrations and data flows across the finance stack and adjacent systems (CRM, payroll/PEO), ensuring robust data integrity, compliance, scalability, and unified reporting across platforms as the company grows.
- Policies and controls: Develop standardized policies for deferred revenue, billing, contract management, and financial controls.
- Customer economics: Build frameworks to track customer lifetime value, retention economics, cost-to-serve, and customer segmentation in partnership with Customer Success and Sales.
- Pricing and monetization: Drive insights into pricing optimization, gross margin improvement, and monetization strategies for proprietary data assets and AI-driven offerings.
- Financial modeling: Model financial implications of new products, services, and pricing strategies with cross-functional leadership.
- Team building: Build and scale a high-performing finance team across accounting, FP&A, and systems, fostering a culture of data-informed decision-making, operational excellence, and continuous development.
- External partners and compliance: Manage relationships with fractional accounting partners, auditors, external legal counsel, HR, and PEO providers to ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements and corporate governance standards.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field; MBA or CPA preferred.
- Significant progressive finance leadership experience with proven success in senior FP&A or finance operations roles, preferably in PE-backed, high-growth technology companies.
